Bruce Carroll

He has been studying and teaching primitive technology for over 30 years and is a Certified Herbalist, Reiki Master, Licensed Minister, Certified Gunsmith (Www.PracticalPrecisionGunsmith.Com), was an adjunct Professor at Prescott College and holds many naturalist certificates. He has studied naturalist skills with Tom Brown Jr., Kevin Reeve (OnPointtactical.Com), Paul Rezendes, Jon Young, Dr. Lynn Rogers, Gail Ulrich, and many others.

He played and sang with the Rising Wind Drum and the Wolf Spirit Drum for over 5 years touring the Pow Wow circuit in the New England area. He has also attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston and did numerous studio work/recordings in the USA and Europe.

He has been involved with construction, various building techniques and solar energy for over 30 years, and has built everything from general stick style construction, to alternative building styles including geodesic domes, pole frame, slip form masonry, cobbing, ferro-cement, and jungle style cabanas. He designed and managed the construction of a world class resort (www.CottonTreeLodge.Com) in the jungles of Belize, where he was living with the Kek Chi Mayan Indians for over4 years. He has studied the jungle flora & fauna deep in the jungle and to learn these skills first hands, he lived in a tent, by himself, with the nearest Mayan Villages 3-4 miles away, and the nearest town being over 20 miles away. To say the least, it was an intense experience!

He also has been developing various kits for converting diesel engines to run on pure vegetable oil and with hydrogen fuel cells for both gas & diesel motors (Www.JabiruBamboo.Com). All in all, Bruce has mastered the primitive technology skills for many decades, has been an extreme senior computer consultant for several decades, an advocate of green energy and continues to explore and increase his wilderness experience and other knowledge on a daily basis.
